I was all excited because I had doubled my money after a couple days of playing. I withdrew my original "bank" of 100 bucks and played with my winnings.

In the space of two days I lost it all. Three big hands killed me with the worst luck. In one I had two guys feeding the pot and a fullhouse. The pot was around 30 bucks. Of course, he ended up with a higher full house. I had 10s and kings and he had 10s and aces. The aces of course were in the hole, to bounce the probability of his winning through the roof. But he did.

The next one was similar, I had two high pair and the guy that won had the same, but higher. It's amazing he even called me. Two pair isn't that great, most people fold to a high bet if they aren't sure they have a good hand.

Long story short, I had a series of good hands that were "slightly" beaten, which made it worse for some reason, and I have stopped online gambling.

You need patience, iron testicles, and luck and I just don't have any luck.

Anyone thinking about playing online, it's not that great. After the novelty wears off, its actually kind of boring compared to live games.

It's fun to play "live" and play once or twice a year with friends and/or relatives but I learned from experience playing online isn't close to as fun.
