Know when you can upgrade
I have had some complaints that once customers purchased skins they were left in the dark regarding when updates were made, in case they wanted to upgrade. I thought it might be a little unreasonable to expect clients to check back here every now and again (though feel free!), so will be starting a newsletter.
This newsletter is only sent when there are significant updates to our products that customers might want to know about, and when new products are released. Special coupons will be posted from time to time, but other than that, we won't spam you to solicit your return business. Additionally, if we come across some tips that forum owners might find useful, we will be sure to include them in the next newsletter. Knowledge is power!
Become enlightened
I will be making every effort to include relevant and helpful tips when I can. I have been tinkering with forums (Infopop, vBulletin, phpBB, and later IPB) since vBulletin was in its early 2.x version, so I am sure I know a thing or two that might be useful and maybe Tammy can share an occasional phpBB secret.
You need to subscribe!
New customers will see an option to subscribe but if you are old school, you never had a choice. In the right hand menu on the main page you will see a place to subscribe though.
Mmm goodies
Not every monkey throws poo :O. I will be sure to include ultra secret coupons for any client thinking of getting a new skin and, if you have been around the block, you will know we don't issue coupons anywhere, at all. Only newsletter subscribers will get coupons thrown at them.w00t
Time is running out!
The first newsletter will be going out soon, and there will be a coupon. I know you can hardly contain your excitement. But if you aren't on the list, you won't get it, or know about updates, or get to read witty meanderings from the ForumMonkey staff. How could you live with yourself, if you lived without us?
