I was thinking of either buing Attention Deficit or YourFora, but I have some questions:

On AD can you add things to the sidebar like "Recent Discussion" etc?
On YourFora can you make the side bar appear on all pages (except when reading a thread)? If the answer is yes, can you add things like "Recent Discussion"?
Can you add more links to the navigation menu (where it says User CP, FAQ, Member List, etc)
And can you add more links to AD at the top where it says "Home" "Forums" "Register"?
Thank you.

I like those answers lol. Thank you.

What do you think the cost would be to make it so the side bar appears on all pages, except when you are reading a thread?

And is it hard to add things like "Recent Discussion"? Do you need to code something, or are there options in the CP to add it?

Also, do you think I could get a style custom coded so there is an introduction page? Take YourFora for example. I'd like to have it so when you visit there would be a little "About Us" text, and under that would be "Recent News" like as if it was a portal. The side bar would still be there. Everything would be the same except for the forums. Instead of the forums being there, it would be "Recent News" etc. Then you could click on "Forums" at the top navigation. I suppose I could do this with vBadvanced...but they have their own sidebars. All I want is the middle section with news, etc.

Thanks.

EDIT: One more thing, I was thinking of getting dolophine now...can you change the width? Would it look right if I made it like 85% or something?

The sidebar customizations wouldn't take long at all. I would guess about an hour at most. The current rate is still 40 USD an hour.

Recent discussions = you could use a hack at vBulletin.org and just plug it in there. I think there's a couple of variations available (last I checked).

3. Introduction page = you'd need a portal. I believe most portals you can control the columns and turn them off or only have one. You'd be on your own, because we only support styles here, not portals or portal integration. Of course, the portal software people and communities can help you. I have seen a couple of our styles with columns used with portals nicely but I know of one customer in particular who had a real struggle getting it to work (but eventually did).
