First, no, this is not a copyright infringement, so you can legally do this.

Log in to the Admincp, then Languages and Phrases, and do a search for "x_powered_by_vbulletin" and search by Phrase Variable Name only.

Click the edit button.

Copy the text that says "{1} - Powered by vBulletin" and paste in the field below, and delete the Powered by part so it now just says "{1} - " (notice the space at the end too).

Save it. Done.

Even though I don't have a vBulletin, Thanks for posting this. I always wondered if/and how you could change that one day I saw it could be changed on a forum I went too. This will be useful to share with my online friends, and if I even get one, one day. !coffee

Thanks :D

The copyright information in the footer template is required unless you buy a branding free license from Jelsoft. The "powered by" in the Title can be removed.

I did what you said but now mine has a line at the end in the title. See: http://dan-foster.com/forum/index.php

And now I can't search to try and change it. Can you help please?
