Putting a "remember me" button in the Webspeak template is a very important item and is the one thing that I noticed which is missing from this otherwise complete and impressive template.

I have the same issue. We can see it once you hit the "no permission page", but not at the top.

If I find a way I will let you know..I am digging threw the code now.

I found this thus far:

<label for="cb_cookieuser"><input type="checkbox" name="cookieuser" value="1" id="cb_cookieuser" tabindex="1" />$vbphrase[remember_me]</label>

Now I just have to learn to utilize it.

Are you having problems with users staying logged in? Webspeak does't have the remember me box but it DOES have the field hidden and checked. Meaning, when someone logs in, it behaves as if they checked the Remember Me box every time.

NetAtom,
I am having issues staying logged in. The only way I do not loose my session is if I access a "No Permission Page", and THEN, I hit the "remember me box" (because there is a 'remember me' box in that screen..)

Is this normal?

NetAtom,
Don't worry about it. It's fixed..I don't know what the problem was..but I just deleted all my files and templates and started over.

I kept the database obviously but, I deleted the physical forum software and just re-installed everything.

Thanks though!

Well, this is odd.

It's back..when I use the old Vbulletin style it does not log me out. But the minute I use webspeak it does. I am forced to keep logging in.

I also upgrade to the newest VB Version, and now I get this:

"There are currently 2 customized template(s) that need to be updated or reverted. Some sections of vBulletin may not function if you do not do this!".

But when I "revert" them, the homepage gets all mixed up!

Monitoring my cookies, I can confidently say that it is not automatically clicking "Remember me" when logging in on the top right.

I don't mean to be annoying, but I'm lost on what to do.

I've tried this on multiple computers. Webspeak will not send a cookie to the machine using the top right login button.

I have a new version of Webspeak with the maintenance updates and some other minor improvements coming out very soon. This version will also have the cookie checkbox.
